Our Story
In 1935, Troy “Ty” Cobb invested his life savings of $5,000 to start a company built on a simple principle: quality products, responsive service, and personal integrity.
What began as a small operation built on hard work and personal accountability grew steadily across California and the Western states. Ty’s approach was simple: do the work well, treat people fairly, and stand behind what you build.
Over the decades, T.M. Cobb expanded its facilities and reach throughout California and neighboring states. The company remains family-owned and operated by second, third, and fourth generation Cobb family members — continuing a legacy built on hard work, discipline, and trust.
Who We Are Today
Today, T.M. Cobb Companies supports both residential and commercial applications, and operates:
- 5 manufacturing plants
- 4 distribution warehouses
- 5 sales offices
